The words "BEHIND THE SCENES" sit in front of a swirl of magical light in the void.

It’s true, this scene daunted me for a long time. Not because it was at all momentous in my first imaginings, but because there was just so much WALKING and so much CITY.

I haven’t needed to create the WHOLE city of Agali yet, from scratch. But like an old man whittling away at a chunk of old trunk, certain details have come into better focus over time. And “over time” means “episode by episode”.

The series of developmental maps I drew of Agali “and environs” helped me get an IDEA of what the city is like, and what each BIT of the city is like. We won’t need to see most of it. But hopefully we’ll get a sense of what the rest of the city is like, even in passing or through comments made.

By splitting up the scene into digestible nuggets of reading, they’ve also become digestible nuggets of CREATION.
